Courts Open

Outdoor courts are now open.  Our main locations of Memorial and Northshire Park have the permanent nets up.  Cherry Hill has temporary nets available as usual for INWPC members.

Thanks to everyone that helped out getting the courts ready.

Sandbagger

I played in a pickleball tourney

You could say it was quite the journey

Though I’m 4.0 rated

Played 3.0 and was hated

Got the medal but left on a gurney

Coaching Corner

Anytime you are considering being sneaky, disguising a speed-up, or looking to put your opponent in a pretzel, make sure you are SLY!

  • S - stable and hungry for the recounter unless you want a plastic tattoo on your chest.
  • L - in a good location on the court so you and your partner can fight as a unit.
  • Y - in the yellow zone because red zone "hero" stuff generally comes screaming back.

If you speed up, be ready to clean up! If you play with fire and you're not ready for fire to come back, you will get burned!
